Week 5 Newsletter

Next week we will begin our twice-a-year MAP (computerized) testing.  I will encourage your student to try to do their best, by working on goal setting for learning.  I will spend some time discussing how we can all push our learning further.  Our tests will occur on Mondays Oct. 17 and 24 from 1 - 2 pm and on Fridays Oct 21 and 28 from 8:30-9:30am.  On those days, please be sure they eat a great breakfast and bring a good lunch, so their brain activity can be maximized at the test times.  Please try to avoid any absences during these hours on each day.  There will be one make-up session for any absences during any of these times.

Biography book reports are due on October 28.  If you need another copy of the project, click here.  All students need to bring their book to school on October 17 and we will complete some necessary in class work for the project.

Just a quick reminder...all late work is now reduced by 10%.  Please encourage your student to double check their assignment books daily at home.
